Abeyta Nelson Injury Law Welcomes Attorney Jaysson F. Pfeifer to the Team

Abeyta Nelson Injury Law is proud to welcome attorney Jaysson F. Pfeifer to our legal team.
At Abeyta Nelson Injury Law, we are proud to welcome attorney Jaysson F. Pfeifer to our team. For Jaysson, joining the firm feels like a natural extension of the commitment he has always had to the Yakima Valley. For us, it means gaining a thoughtful advocate with a strong academic foundation, real courtroom experience, and a heartfelt dedication to the community where he grew up.
A Commitment to Learning and Leadership
Jaysson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2023, where he didn’t just study the law, he helped shape the conversations happening around it. As an associate editor of the Critical Legal Studies Journal and a 3L representative to the Student Bar Association, he embraced roles that demanded leadership, collaboration, and a drive for excellence.
Before law school, Jaysson completed both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice at Central Washington University. That early academic path gave him a strong understanding of how legal systems impact real people, a perspective that continues to guide his work today.
Meaningful Experience in Prosecutorial Work
Jaysson comes to our firm with hands-on experience as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Special Assaults Unit of the Yakima County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. There, he worked on some of the county’s most sensitive and complex cases, work that requires not only legal skill, but quiet determination and compassion.
He also interned with the Whitman County Prosecutor’s Office in Colfax, WA, and with Schwartz Law in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Those experiences exposed him to different courts, different clients, and different styles of advocacy, all of which now strengthen the perspective he brings to representing injured clients and their families.
Rooted in Yakima, Driven by Service
A Yakima native and La Salle High School graduate, Jaysson’s connection to the valley runs deep. He has spent years volunteering at St. Paul Cathedral, giving his time and energy to a community that helped shape him. That same dedication is what he brings to every client who walks through our doors.
Outside the office, Jaysson stays close to the people and places he loves. Whether he’s golfing, hiking, fishing, or traveling, he carries that sense of curiosity and appreciation for others into his practice of law.
Looking Ahead
We couldn’t be happier to welcome Jaysson to Abeyta Nelson Injury Law. His work ethic, his grounding in the Yakima Valley, and his commitment to standing up for people during some of the hardest moments of their lives make him an exceptional fit for our firm.
We invite our clients, partners, and community to join us in welcoming Jaysson. We’re proud to have him serving people throughout the Yakima Valley and across Washington state.
