David Abeyta Named Outstanding New Member by State Trial Lawyers

Attorney David Abeyta was awarded the “Ready to Soar” award for the outstanding new member at the annual convention of the Washington Association for Justice at its 2014 convention in Stevenson, Washington.

This award is made by the statewide association of trial lawyers to a member in practice less than five years who has demonstrated excellence and professionalism in the legal practice, made a substantial contribution to the community, and advanced the association’s mission.

Abeyta, a native of Yakima, graduated from West Valley High School. He joined Abeyta Nelson in 2010 after graduating from Washington State University and California Western School of Law. He specializes in representing people and their families who have suffered serious personal injury. He serves on the board of governors for WSAJ.

Abeyta is active in the community serving in leadership positions with the Yakima Valley Community Foundation, United Way of Yakima and Kittitas Counties New Leaders, Montessori School of Yakima, and as a youth baseball coach.

Abeyta is married to Chelsea-Irwin, a realtor at Prudential Realty. They have two children.
